When I tell people I’m into the backgammon money, sometimes they can be pretty surprised.  Backgammon just isn’t a game that many people equate with gambling.  It’s true that there have been a bunch of celebrity tournaments and pro tour backgammon tournaments on television in the past few years, but I guess a lot of people haven’t seen them.  Because, the truth is, backgammon can be one of the most profitable games out there.

For me, online casinos are the best place for serious backgammon money.  online backgammon has become popular with players around the world and every time I log on there must be thousands of other players on as well.  So, I never have a problem finding an opponent.  And, I don’t know what it is, but online backgammon players are more aggressive and tend to play the doubling cube hard.  This of course is where the real backgammon money is.

I love playing the doubling cube.  When I feel strong about a game I’m playing, I immediately take the cube.  I want to end the game quick and take the pot or have my opponent raise me and make the stakes interesting.  I find a lot of players online who are willing to raise the stakes significantly with me, which makes for a huge pot of backgammon money.  I’ve won and lost some and loved every minute of it.  I still haven’t gotten a game to raise to a 64, though I’ve come close a couple of times.  When that happens I know I’m going to win and be a happy man.
